A bass ukulele (guitarlele) is tuned like the four highest strings on a guitar, a good starter to guitar chords. A tenor ukulele (I have one) is a bit bigger than a concert ukulele which is a little bigger than a soprano. The tenors I have heard seem to have a richer sound with more body. I’m not sure what a quarter guitar is like, but I know of 1/2 and 3/4 guitars, which are smaller than a regular acoustic guitar. Hope this answered your question! 🙂
