Hi, I’m a student who’s been playing uke for about five years now with a cheap Mahalo uke. I’ve never had a problem with the way it sounds and it has a really nice checkerboard pattern, but I’ve been thinking about getting something with a bit of a different sound to it. Thing is I’m dead broke. Does anyone know of any uke models with really nice or quite unusual sounds that aren’t too bad on price?
