So, my strumming finger nail is almost down to the quick, I’ve tried various nail varnishes as recommended by female friends,(wore off very quickly)
My pick collection is getting huge but I’m not a fan of the leather or felt ones (too stiff) and my favourite, a Jim Dunlop 0’38mm, gets voted down by my wife due to sharp/hard sound.

At yesterdays group session someone suggested neoprene thimbles.

What are the views re them?

Maybe I just need to go ‘softly’ softly for a while.
